Penny Hamilton LRPS, Landscape Photographer, lives and works on the Isle of Arran.
Arran is the most southerly of the Scottish Islands and benefits from the waters of the Gulf Stream, which give the Island a soft mild climate.
The Highland Fault line runs right through Arran meaning that the north of the Island has high rugged mountains and the south has much more gentle undulating landscape, with a rich variety in between.
There are forests and moors, beaches and coastal walks, castles and caves. Something for everyone.
